Crafted with meticulous care, this project is an ode to handcrafted textiles. Each piece is designed and crafted with refinement, forming a bridge between fleeting trends and enduring styles in contemporary fashion. Inspired by the persistent allure of metallics in fashion, this collection explores metallics through a range of processes.
At the heart of the project lies the contrast between old and new, modern and classic, reflected in the materials and techniques employed. Natural silks, wools, and metals intertwine with digital CAD embroidery, hand beading, digital and screen-printing, creating a fusion of modern freshness with timeless luxury. The careful application of glass, metal and crystal beads elevates each piece to bespoke surfaces, while metallic accents add a touch of modern sophistication
Each piece is carefully and intricately designed, drawing inspiration from nature, focusing on the abstract patterns and textures of cacti. These organic inspirations are translated into tonal and textural textiles, capturing the essence of nature's organic beauty. Taking cues from recent runways, with metallics, classic neutrals, and the organic hues found in nature, this collection embodies a timeless elegance that transcends fleeting trends.
Drawing from design houses like Diesel, Versace, and David Koma, this collection offers a sophisticated interpretation of contemporary fashion. The blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern processes throughout this collection redefines luxury in the modern fashion landscape, offering pieces that resonate with sophistication, longevity, and timeless charm.
SILK SCREEN-PRINTING
Throughout the collection, Silk screen-printing takes prominence, unveiling an array of abstract and textural prints. By embracing the versatility of this technique and the range of finishes it offers, the collection showcases a fusion of Aqua-Suede, Flock, Foil, and metallic binders. These distinct techniques serve as gateways to explore the interplay between texture and print, emphasizing raised surfaces against the lustrous details of metallics. By harmonizing these materials and methods, the collection celebrates the inherent beauty of screen printing, embracing the intricate nuances and subtlety within each design.
HAND BEADING
Crafted with meticulous care, hand beading intertwines organic forms with textural screen-prints in the collection, infusing surfaces with three-dimensional depth and tactile richness. The application of glass, metal, and crystal beads results in bespoke luxury surfaces that epitomize traditional craftsmanship. CAD EMBROIDERY
